At the 1st possible chance our Alaskan friend takes his seaplane to the tippy top of the Alaskan illations to search for fishing floats that have floated free from their nets... and there among the sea grass they lay like easter eggs.
Hand-blown Japanese glass fishing floats, (1908 - 1980). Used in fisheries off Northern Japan and washed ashore on the upper tip of Alaska. These floats are still used today, but no longer made.
Some may have slight variation and imperfections from authentic wear and tear. Colors range from clear to blue to green.
